Computer Programming Classes for Kids
Hi Elliott, So my daughter, Rhys, just completed her free trial lesson today with Joshua. I was shocked that she didn’t hate it. (Which you should take as a huge compliment!) She had been dreading the lesson all week when I told her she was gonna try yet another trial lesson. I’ve been searching for […]
Dear RP4K Team, Our son (age 10) became interested in coding/programming in the summer of 2020 – yes, during the COVID-19 pandemic! This allowed me to open up our search for online programs anywhere in the world, and we were thrilled to find RP4K in Canada, even though we were in New Jersey. It was […]
So happy to see this ad! My son is going into grade 5 and completed an in-person class prior to Covid-19. RP4K quickly, and seamlessly, pivoted to an online platform. My son is now completing his second course. The instructors are knowledgeable, and truly connect with each student. This is a true programming course and […]
RP4K testimonial provided by Effie K. in June 2020, regarding her son’s experience at our Toronto location.
If there’s time at the end of an interview, an interviewer is likely to enquire about RP4K and the role itself. I experienced this on three occasions.
I’m mostly just feeling some nostalgia and a lot of gratitude and wanting to thank you guys for the opportunities you provided me.
I am so grateful I found the program because this is the best thing I have done for my son.
The courses are very well designed and the instructors have all been wonderful.
This hands-on style of teaching works well with different types of learners, it allows younger students to stay concentrated for a longer time, and it develops problem skills that can be used for other subjects and different life situations.
My sense is that the program presented by RP4K is effective due to interesting projects (the games line up with what most kids like), small classes and excellent instructors.
I would highly recommend Real Programming 4 Kids and wish we had introduced Thaya earlier to the program!
I am providing you with this letter as a form of testimonial, and I should say at the outset that it was unsolicited and came about on my own initiative after I received one of your emails with current registration attachments and contacted you to inform you that my children were now no longer able to enroll again
My name is Fernando. 10 years ago I was an RP4K student. Now I’m a professional game developer. RP4K was a really special experience for me during my youth. RP4K got me started with the programming languages that I use today.
I want to congratulate you on receiving the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award. It was a wonderful evening of celebration of business in Richmond Hill. Wishing you continued success in your future endeavours. Your’s very truly Dave Barrow, Mayor
I am happy that all the hard work is paying off. You know that you can always use us as a reference! Chris has greatly benefited from RP4K! he is at UW and WLU in a double degree 5 yr Co-op.
I am writing to you to let you know what a difference Real programming has made for my son and our family. Our son Leonardo has had difficulty in school since the early years.
I would like to thank Elliott and the teachers at Real Programming 4 Kids for the effort they put into their programs and their interest in the students. In 2003, when my son was about 10 years old he expressed an interest in making video games.
When I first picked up the phone and called you in 2005, I was very excited to hear that you use Visual Basic, a real programming language! Over the next 5 years, my son Brendan has taken three of your Visual Basic Game Programming courses, a C++ course, and a C# course.
For the past few years, my son Gabriel has been attending the Real Programming 4 Kids program at St. Mildred’s and I believe that with attending this fun, challenging, interactive, structural gaming program that it has aicled Gabriel in being able to achieve excellent marks at school in Math.
My name is Marie Deslauriers, and I took my first class with RP4K when I was sixteen, learning C++ with the sidescroller game Kenny (now Haunted Harbour).
My name is Brandon Smith, back in grade 5 or 6 I began taking courses from you, which includes Pacman, Asteroids, DirectX and HL Mods, which by the way were awesome courses with great people.
My name is Austin Chamney, and I have been attending courses at Real Programming for Kids since I was thirteen years old. I started off programming the original Donkey Kong game with the beginner language Visual Basic.
I would love to talk about how RP4K influenced my career choices so far. RP4K helped me identify very early on in my life a few things that really helped shape my future career direction.
It was about 8 years ago that my son, Jacob Jackson, did a couple of your camps at Branksome Hall and I just wanted to thank you for lighting a programming fire under him.
