A Game Jam is a fun challenge where participants create a game within a limited time based on a surprise theme revealed at the start of the event! It’s an exciting way to boost creativity, teamwork, and coding skills while making something amazing.
How It Works
- Not like our usual class with a maximum of 4 students per instructor – we deliberately staff the Game Jam lightly to initiate kids coding on their own!
- Work solo or in teams to bring your game idea to life.
- Instructors will be available to answer questions and guide participants.
- Games will be playtested and voted on after submission.
- Recommended for those who have completed a Developing Level or higher RP4K course.
- No prior Game Jam experience needed—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
