Most kids and teens understand math better when their teacher can answer one simple question. How is this useful? Greater appreciation and understanding of math is facilitated by seeing math used in cool applications. What better way to impart an appreciation of mathematics then to apply it to something meaningful to a young person! One of the coolest ways to teach math to a young mind is by applying math in a coding project or game!
RP4K will now be offering some Math & Physics courses in our weekly Fall 2024 program.
Beginner Applied Math for Coders
The Beginner Applied Math course is intended for 9- to 11-year-olds, who are obtaining a B or higher in their school math classes.
Developing Applied Math for Coders
The Developing Applied Math course is intended for 12- to 14-year-olds, who are obtaining a B or higher in their school math classes and have taken at least 1 Beginner Level RP4K Course.
Advanced Applied Math & Physics for Coders course.
This Applied Math & Physics course is an Advanced level course. The coding components are at an Intermediate level while the math & physics discussions are at an Advanced level. If you are interested in a course that applies math and physics to coding projects, then this is the right course for your teen!
To qualify for the advanced applied math and physics course students should have taken at least one intermediate level RP4K course and have at least a B in their math class at their school. The Advanced level Applied Math course is meant for students between 13 and 18 years old.
