What is a Game Jam?

A Game Jam is a fun challenge where participants create a game within a limited time based on a surprise theme revealed at the start of the event! It’s an exciting way to boost creativity, teamwork, and coding skills while making something amazing.

This is a one to two-day event and it’s FREE for students registered in our Summer 2025 session!!

The aim of a Game Jam is to challenge kids to code on their own! Some instructors and volunteers will be available to help.

More Game Jam information, dates, times will be announced over the coming weeks.

RP4K Summer 2025 Coding, AI and Applied Math camps

AI, Math and Coding camps are 1 to 3 consecutive weeks.

Students attend 2 hours each day, Mon to Fri, from 11 am to 1 pm EST or 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm for 1 to 3 consecutive Mon to Fri weeks in July or Aug.

The following 9 weeks are available:

1. June 30 to July 4 (2025) *
2. July 7 to July 11 (2025)
3. July 14 to July 18 (2025)
4. July 21 to July 25 (2025)
5. July 28 to Aug 1 (2025)
6. Aug 5 to Aug 8 (2025) **
7. Aug 11 to Aug 15 (2025)
8. Aug 18 to Aug 22 (2025)
9. Aug 25 to Aug 29 (2025)

*Week 1 is a 4-day week with no classes on Tuesday July 1 Canada Day

 **Week 6 is a 4-day week with no classes on Monday August 4 Civic Holiday

Sample of NEW AI, MATH & CODING CAMPS available this summer:

• Developing LevelAI 2 – two  hours per day for 10 days – 2 weeks
  • Pre-requisite is having completed a Developing level coding course
• Advanced LevelAI 4 – two  hours per day for 15 days – 3 weeks
  • Pre-requisite is having completed AI 3 Intermediate
• Intermediate Applied Math 3 Dice Duel – 2 hours per day for 15 days – 3 weeks
  • Pre-requisite is having completed one Intermediate level coding course
  • Dice Duel is a game about Probability and Compound Interest, students will also learn about the Binomial Distribution
  •  Programming concepts include Dependency Injection, Singleton, Observer, Flyweight and Unity
• Developing LevelJava Toadal Chaos – two  hours per day for 10 days – 2 weeks
  • Pre-requisite is having completed at least one Beginner level coding course
• Intermediate C# Rampart Rampage– two  hours per day for 15 days – 3 weeks
  • Pre-requisite is having completed at least one Developing level coding course
