So my daughter, Rhys, just completed her free trial lesson today with Joshua. I was shocked that she didn’t hate it. (Which you should take as a huge compliment!) She had been dreading the lesson all week when I told her she was gonna try yet another trial lesson. I’ve been searching for years (on and off—mostly just gave up) for a good coding program here in Richmond (next to Vancouver). And sad that I have to look out of province to even find a good program with good cool instructors. But I know more online options have opened up due to COVID, which has worked in our favour.
I was very pleased with today’s trial lesson. Rhys said she actually learned something whereas in other lessons they just told her what to do and covered way too many steps. I was also really encouraged after reading all the testimonials.
All this to say we would love to sign up for coding classes for Rhys. And would love Joshua as her instructor or any instructors like him. Again, she’s 12 years old, grade 7. New to coding.
